Russia has confirmed over 26,097 COVID-19 cases in a day, while the total number has exceeded 2.5 million.
Most of all new cases over the past 24 hours were recorded in Moscow (5,232), St. Petersburg (3,734), and the Moscow region (1,341).
A total of 1,981,526 people have already recovered, while the death toll has reached 44,159.
