Vardan Ayvazyan, former Minister of Nature Protection of Armenia, will not be arrested, and his detention was also declared illegal; his lawyer Mihran Poghosyan wrote about this on Facebook.

Ayvazyan was detained on December 12.

"He is suspected of usurpation of power, which was manifested in the form of stealing cologne and a watch; he was detained for that," Poghosyan had said earlier.

To note, the National Security Service was conducting a search in Vardan Ayvazyan's residence.
