The court declared the detention of Police Colonel Sayat Shirinyan as unlawful and released him from the courtroom. This is what Shirinyan’s attorney Aram Vardevanyan posted on his Facebook page, adding the following:

“Judge Papoyan thoroughly examined our appeal. The court ruled to uphold the appeal, declared Colonel Shirinyan’s detention as unlawful due to absence of substantiated doubt and released him from the courtroom.”

As reported earlier, Sayat Shirinyan had been detained.
