YEREVAN. - In all likelihood, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s visit to Armenia was postponed as issues in need of domestic discussions and clarification of Yerevan’s official position were included in the agenda, Leader of Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnakstutyun (ARFD) Vahan Hovhannisyan told a press conference on Monday.
Hovhannisyan did not specify whether they were of economic and political nature. He stressed that Ahmadinejad’s visit to Armenia was put off, not canceled. According to him, after Yerevan specifies its positions on these issues, the visit will take place.
