Armen Ghularyan will be appointed chairman of the Urban Development Committee of Armenia (the issue is included in the agenda for tomorrow’s government session).

Ghularyan was the first deputy chairman of the Urban Development Committee and had been performing his duties for nearly a year.

In February 2020, former chairman of the Urban Development Committee Vahagn Vermishyan was charged with receiving a bribe in a particularly large amount and was arrested, and upon the government’s February 27 decision, Vermishyan was relieved of his post.
