Armenia’s Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan today received Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Colonel General Sergey Istrakov, who is also the head of the Russian delegation in Armenia to participate in the staff talks over the Armenian-Russian military cooperation, as reported the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

Istrakov informed the Armenian defense minister about the summarized results of the tasks completed during the staff talks and the future joint programs.

An agreement was reached on bilateral cooperation and, according to the earmarked directions, the continuation of discussions and the implementation of the planned tasks.
