Today, by the decision of the Criminal Court of Appeal of Armenia (Judges Hambardzumyan, Hovakimyan and Mnatsakanyan), the decision rendered by Judge Davit Balayan on dismissing the proceedings of the criminal case regarding Judge Davit Grigoryan remained in legal force after the Court rejected the appeal filed by Prosecutor General of Armenia Artur Davtyan. This is what Grigoryan’s attorney Yervand Varosyan posted on his Facebook page, adding the following:

“Those illegally pursuing the judge for rendering a fair, lawful decision that doesn’t please the authorities and those giving the judge such instructions will be held liable soon.”
