Aragats Akhoyan, ex-MP from the opposition Prosperous Armenia parliamentary faction, who is accused of attempting to invade the government building, has been released. 

The reports have been confirmed by his lawyer Benik Galstyan.

On January 28, a group of citizens, including the ex-MP, held a protest action in Yerevan, demanding the resignation of the Armenian Prime Minister. The protesters went to the building of the Prosecutor General's Office. There were clashes between police and citizens. A group of citizens tried to break into the government building.
