A criminal case has been initiated upon the discovery of an Armenian teenager, 15, hanging from a tree, the Investigative Committee of Armenia reported.

The reports on his disappearance were presented on Friday.

No traces of violence were found, and the boy's personal belongings were found in the pockets of his clothes.

It was decided to conduct a forensic medical examination. 

To clarify the circumstances of significant importance in the criminal case, instructions were given to the relevant division of the Armenian police.

A preliminary investigation is underway.

The necessary investigative and other procedural actions are being taken to clarify all the circumstances of the incident, to ensure an objective, complete and comprehensive investigation.
