In an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am, Narek Babayan, who has resigned from the position of chairman of the State Property Management Committee of Armenia, said he might be appointed to a new position.

Asked if he has news about his appointment to a new position, Babayan said the presses will receive the news when he is appointed.

When told that former governor of Ararat Province Garik Sargsyan has been appointed Chairman of the State Property Management Committee and asked if he can serve in this position since he specializes in international relations, Babayan said the following: “I don’t think his specialization has anything to do with this. I will only wish him success.”

Babayan was appointed Chairman of the State Property Management Committee in June 2018.

A short while ago, it was announced that, by the decision of the Prime Minister, Garik Sargsyan has been appointed Chairman of the State Property Management Committee of Armenia.
