Some citizens of Armenia who had left for Moscow have been sent back to Armenia due to problems with the results of their coronavirus tests, Tert.am reported.

“We took the first flight to Moscow, but officers didn’t let us pass the checkpoint and deported us, saying the COVID-19 tests were illegal. When I asked them what the problem was, they told me I had wanted to cross the border of the Russian Federation with an illegal document,” one citizen of Armenia said, adding that he and the other passengers weren’t given any food for three days.

“In Armenia we were told that our departure will be confirmed with a QR code, but it appears it was falsified since we were told that our documents were fake on the Russian border. We demand that the issue of their deportation is solved and we receive the money paid for air tickets,” the citizen said.
