YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: The RA Audit Chamber has made some changes in its 2021 action plan.
Zhoghovurd daily learned that the Chamber intends to inspect the implementation of budget expenditures by the Ministry of Health due to the new coronavirus pandemic.
In addition to this, the 7th Department of the Audit Chamber will also inspect the implementation of budget expenditures by the RA Ministries of Economy, Labor and Social Affairs, and the State Revenue Committee due to Covid-19.
By the way, let us inform that the RA Ministry of Health has spent an amount of about 13 billion 244 million drams in the period from March to October 1, 2020 within the framework of prevention, control, treatment, and other multifaceted measures of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Armenia.
Anyway, we have to wait until the end of the study of the Audit Chamber to find out whether or not the billions [of drams] received against the coronavirus have been spent effectively.
