Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is on a working visit to Kazakhstan, on Friday morning met with the newly appointed Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Ulukbek Maripov.

Pashinyan noted that Armenia and Kyrgyzstan have close cooperation and Armenia is interested in deepening their partnership ties.

The PM of Kyrgyzstan, in turn, stressed that his country attaches great importance to closer partnership with Armenia. According to him, it is necessary to work to deepen their cooperation.

Also, the interlocutors stressed the high level of their political dialogue, and reaffirmed their interest in deepening the mutual relations.

Nikol Pashinyan and Ulukbek Maripov exchanged views on the development of trade and economic cooperation.

The parties exchanged information also on the measures to overcome the coronavirus pandemic, and agreed to intensify their contacts in parallel with the stabilization of this pandemic situation.
