Armenia’s Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan yesterday received the delegation led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin to discuss the course of and prospects for the Armenian-Russian trade and economic cooperation.

“The cooperation between Armenia and Russia is growing successfully, but there is potential to deepen it further. Armenia is currently planning to develop a multi-vector agenda for cooperation with Russia, and I hope it contributes to the strengthening of economic ties between our countries,” Kerobyan said after greeting the guests.

In his turn, Ambassador Kopirkin emphasized that economy is one of the leading spheres of cooperation and that it’s time to think about strengthening and further intensifying the economic ties between Russia and Armenia.

Kerobyan shared the Ambassador’s view and attached importance to the establishment of infrastructures for funding businesses in Armenia.
