President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Harutyunyan today met with representatives of a number of non-governmental organizations operating in Artsakh, the Staff of the President of Artsakh reported.

President Harutyunyan presented the steps that the government is taking in the current situation and the government’s earmarked programs that are aimed at creating favorable conditions for living and working in Artsakh and attached importance to the role of non-governmental organizations in the implementation of these programs.

The head of state said it is necessary to multiply efforts to overcome the hardships facing the homeland and mentioned that he looks forward to hearing representatives of the public sector present new ideas, be enterprising and show active participation in nation-building.
