The 911 Alarm Center of the State Service for Emergency Situations at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) today received information about an earthquake from the Eastern Service for Seismic Defense at the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, the State Service for Emergency Situations of Artsakh reported.
The earthquake was felt at 7:36 p.m. 6 km south from the city of Chambarak of Gegharkunik Province of Armenia, 10 km deep from the center and with a 4.7 magnitude.
The force of the underground shock in the epicenter zone was 6-7 points.
The earthquake was also felt in Artsakh with a 2-point magnitude.
As of 9 p.m. no alarms about devastations, victims and injured in the territory of Armenia have been reported.
