The resumption of the 2015 Iranian nuclear deal does not require any mediation and will be accomplished by returning Washington to its obligations, Mehr reported quoting the official.

The United States must return to full compliance with UN Security Council Resolution 2231 to restore the Iranian deal, said Saeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to him, the European three counties should correct their past mistakes and return to their agreement.

He said that Iran has done its part in this direction, and now Europe can play a constructive role and get off the wrong path that it has chosen at this stage, both by returning to its obligations and helping to reopen the deal.
