Major political cataclysms that shook a number of Eurasian Union (EAEU) member states in 2020, including Armenia, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan, will not affect the future of the Union, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin told TASS.

According to him, the past year was unprecedentedly full of political cataclysms.

He recalled that similar concerns were expressed back in 2018 after the velvet revolution in Armenia, but Yerevan's course towards Eurasian integration has not changed.

“Armenia was and remains one of the active participants of the Union,” he added.
