Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia Eduard Hovhannisyan today received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin.

Hovhannisyan stated that there is a field for wide legal-contractual cooperation between the two countries in the areas of tax and customs administration, providing the opportunity to work actively at the levels of both countries and within the framework of the CIS Executive Committee, the Eurasian Economic Commission and other international organizations.

During the meeting, the parties positively assessed the activities of the representatives of the Customs Service of the Russian Federation in Armenia and the customs attaché of Armenia in the Russian Federation.

The parties expressed willingness to continue and enhance the cooperation between the tax and customs authorities effectively in the future as well.
