The Saudi Arabian government believes that the countries of the region should participate in any talks on Iran's nuclear program, MEE reported.

In a statement following a cabinet meeting led by King Salman, Riyadh also condemned Yemeni's Houthi rebels and hailed Washington's commitment to keeping the kingdom safe. However, the Saudi cabinet did not comment on the US decision to end support for the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen.

The government urged the international community to take responsibility for the aggressive actions of the Iranian regime - including threats to the security and stability of Arab states, interference in their affairs, and support for armed groups, the statement said. 

And this underscores the importance of the countries most affected by Iranian threats to participate in any international talks on Iran's nuclear program and behavior that threaten the security of the region.

The announcement came a few weeks after the administration of US President Joe Biden pledged to renew the nuclear deal with Iran, canceled by his predecessor, Donald Trump.
