Armenia’s Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan on Wednesday received Rustam Muradov, commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent stationed in the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict zone to monitor the ceasefire there.

First, Harutyunyan thanked Muradov for his active role in the exchanging of POWs, as well as for assisting the search for the missing, and noted with satisfaction the effectiveness of the activities of this Russian peacekeeping force.

During the meeting, the defense minister touched upon a number of tasks of cooperation, and presented his respective observations.

Also, Vagharshak Harutyunyan stressed the need to continue the steps being taken to comply with the agreements that have been reached.
