The Border Guard Troops of the National Security Service of Armenia report that, from now on, mass media outlets must have permission from the national security bodies of the country in order to provide coverage of various topics in the borderline territories of Syunik Province.

The statement reads as follows: “Due to the operative situation and security considerations, as well as taking as a basis the implementation of border-related activities in the relevant territories of Syunik Province of Armenia, the consent of the national security bodies of Armenia is necessary in order to provide coverage of various topics in the mentioned sites, and for this it is necessary to address the National Security Service of Armenia in writing (also electronically) in advance.”
