Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan today met with members of the Permanent Representation of the UNDP in Armenia led by Dmitry Mariyasin.

Highly appreciating the close and effective cooperation of Yerevan Municipality with the UNDP, Marutyan thanked the outgoing Resident Representative for the cooperation and wished him more achievements in the future.

The mayor emphasized that several major programs have been successfully implemented over the past years. The parties set aside the projects for modern and energy efficiency lighting on streets and increase of safety at underground passageways, as well as Yerevan’s energy efficiency program through which the capital renovation of two kindergartens has already been launched.

Marutyan stated that the municipal authorities are willing to expand the directions for partnership, and Mariyasin attached importance to the achievements made over the past years and the programs that will be ongoing.
