Not everyone in Armenia is to blame for the failures in the recent war in Nagorno-Karabakh. This is what leader of the opposition Bright Armenia Party and homonymous parliamentary faction Edmon Marukyan said during today’s briefing.

The deputy particularly asked why people in Armenia are blaming those who were fulfilling their duty to the country and people.

“Reporters keep asking members of the opposition if they don’t feel that they are to blame. We need to avoid manipulations and stop saying that everyone is to blame, except the Prime Minister, the defense minister and army generals. Not everyone is to blame, but there are specific people who are to blame, and my political party suggests setting up a task force to find and punish those people. Those who are against the creation of this task force are the ones who want to keep asking who is to blame and spread lies,” Marukyan said and talked about the problems he faces whenever he participates in different types of closed and secret meetings.
