YEREVAN. – A rally is being held at Liberty Square in downtown capital Yerevan on the initiative of ex-PM Vazgen Manukyan, Armenia’s opposition Homeland Salvation Movement’s candidate for PM.

Manukyan on Thursday had issued a statement in which he had noted as follows in particular:

"Do not wait for the steps of political parties. All national political forces stand with you, but you decide the future of the country.

I call to gather at Liberty Square [in Yerevan] tomorrow, on February 12, at 15:00, and decide what we have to do. We are losing our Homeland right before our eyes."
