Yes, I have declared that the people have the right to organize an uprising, and this has taken place in many countries where the people have rebelled due to their discontent. This is what candidate of the opposition Homeland Salvation Movement for Prime Minister of Armenia Vazgen Manukyan told reporters at Liberty Square today.

“I will always encourage an uprising. I will encourage any measure that will help make the government resign. Throughout history, Armenians have never been in a situation where the head of state cynically destroys and sells the country,” he said.

When asked if an uprising for shift of power isn't more dangerous and if it wasn't better to agree to go to snap elections, Manukyan said there is nothing more dangerous for Armenia than Nikol Pashinyan serving as Prime Minister of Armenia.
