This is what deputy of the ruling My Step faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Arpi Davoyan told reporters today, touching upon the rumors that Nikol Pashinyan is Serzh Sargsyan’s project.

Touching upon the announcement about the interview that Serzh Sargsyan has given, she said the following: “We can take our time to understand what is being said and what issues are being raised by a person who was the leader of Armenia for years and left us Armenians with the problems that we faced. Armenia’s former presidents are giving interviews to defend themselves, not present arguments.”

Davoyan disagreed with the view that her political party was the one that rejected Serzh Sargsyan. “Serzh Sargsyan was rejected by the people of Armenia. If it was only up to our political team to reject him, we wouldn’t witness the events that took place. What happened almost three years ago was the result of Serzh Sargsyan’s policy, not by the will of our team. Reporters say there are no court verdicts against him. There will be verdicts against him, and not only against him. We are moving consistently. It might take a while to disclose the truth, but this doesn’t mean there won’t be cases. Justice must win,’ she said.
