Former Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Yuri Khachaturov started feeling bad during a break in court today, and paramedics were called to the court.

After resuming the court hearing over the case of second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan and other ex-officials, Judge Anna Danibekyan asked if Khachaturov could attend the court session, to which the army general said his head was spinning and his blood pressure was going up and down. Afterwards, the judge stated that it was impossible to continue the court hearing and postponed it.

Khachaturov’s lawyer Eric Alexanyan asked to not set Feb. 23 as the next date for the court hearing since he had to attend another court hearing on that day and that the court hearing concerns the judge. However, the judge ignored the attorney and set Feb. 23 as the date for the next court hearing.

The army general started feeling bad after the closed court hearing during which the attorney’s motion was being considered.
