The delegations of the states-guarantors of the Astana Process (Russia, Turkey, Iran) are holding trilateral consultations in Sochi today, the Russian delegation reported to TASS.

Moscow is represented by Special Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation for Syria Alexander Lavrentiev, the delegation of Ankara is headed by Head of the Department of Syria at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Selcuk Unal, and Tehran’s delegation is led by Senior Aide of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran for Special Political Affairs Ali Asghar Khaji.

Earlier today, the Russian delegation had bilateral meetings with the representatives of Turey and Iran.

From February 16 to 17, Sochi is hosting the 15th International Meeting on Syria within Astana Format.
