President of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Arayik Harutyunyan today posted the following on his Facebook page:

“Based on an agreement reached through cooperation for solutions to humanitarian issues and through the mediation of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Artsakh, today the Azerbaijani side delivered the bodies of 106 persons who were killed during the 44-day war.

The search for the bodies of those who died during the war and the possibly living soldiers continues. In addition, the sides have started making efforts to search for the bodies of Armenian and Azerbaijani victims of the war that took place in the 1990s and exchange the bodies.

My respects to the deceased. I express condolences to all the relatives.”
