Azerbaijan handed over 106 bodies to the Armenian side, the State Emergency Service of the Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

The bodies were delivered to the Stepanakert morgue. All those killed are unrecognizable.  The bodies are believed to have been buried and exhumed prior to transfer.

Artsakh Interior Minister Karen Sargsyan stated that the search for the disappeared will continue, all possible steps will be taken.

The total number of bodies found in the course of search work and transferred by Azerbaijan was 1485.

Earlier Azerbaijan delayed the transfer of bodies. Practice shows that in some cases it was connected with an attempt to hide the traces of torture.
