Armenian and Russian FMs Ara Aivazian and Sergei Lavrov have discussed the implementation of agreements on Karabakh during Aivazian's short working visit to Russia, the Russian MFA reported.

The sides have discussed the exchange of prisoners of war, humanitarian assistance, unblocking transport links in the region, including in the context of efforts through a trilateral working group at the level of deputy prime ministers.

An understanding was reached on the need for consistent intensification of bilateral exchanges as sanitary restrictions are lifted.

Topical issues of the regional and international agenda were also considered with an emphasis on the situation in the South Caucasus.
