Touching upon environmental movement leader Vahagn Varagyan’s Facebook post in which the latter claimed that chairperson of the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction Artur Mkrtchyan had tried to give an order to the judge to detain “the persons who used swear words against the director of the National Security Service” in any way possible, Benik Galstyan, attorney of Aram Sargsyan (one of the four persons detained under the “case of a fake”, posted the following on his Facebook page:

“I don’t know this person, but I must say that I am currently waiting for the Court’s decision on the motion for arrest of my client Aram Sargsyan.

My client has three minor children. I hope this was by accident. In any case, I assure you all that I will go after every kind of violation under this case.”
