An armed robbery took place in Yerevan Monday, shamshyan.com reports.

At around 2:30pm, a man wearing a surgical mask and armed with a grenade entered a currency exchange office, stole money from there under threat, and fled the scene.

The police investigation department is preparing a report on the incident.

The traffic on the street running along this currency exchange office has been temporarily halted.
