Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that the establishment of a long-term peace will depend on a correct assessment of the situation after the end of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh, TASS reported.

According to him, Azerbaijan today demonstrates its readiness to close the page of hostility, hatred and confrontation and build a future for the region.

He noted that they have already started restoration work, the implementation of projects that will be useful for the entire region and, as a result, will serve as stability and predictability.

"Therefore, I believe that there is a need for all of us - governments and international organizations - to assess the new realities and plan our steps to focus on positive opportunities for cooperation and coexistence in peace," he added.
