Armenian and Russian defense ministers have discussed the situation in Armenia.

On the initiative of the Russian side, on February 25, a telephone conversation took place between Armenian Defense Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Armenian News - NEWS.am reported referring to the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry.

The heads of defense departments of the two strategic allies discussed the situation in Armenia. During the telephone conversation, the parties also touched upon the mission of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as a number of other issues.
