Levon Ter-Petrosyan's spokesman, Arman Musinyan, on Thursday evening made a Facebook post which, in fact, reaffirmed the content of the statement made by Armenia’s First President, on November 10 last year.

"A number of media outlets have published President Levon Ter-Petrosyan's statement published on November 10, presenting it as a statement made today.

I urge the media to refrain from publishing unreliable information, which is nothing but professional negligence, or indecency.

As for the content of the November 10 statement, in the current extremely tense situation [in Armenia], it makes the imperative to avoid a civil war [in the country] even more demanding," Musinyan wrote.
