If the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia tries to detain Nikol Pashinyan, that will be a military coup, or an attempted coup. This is what leader of the opposition Homeland Party Artur Vanetsyan told reporters at Baghramyan Avenue today.

“This isn’t in our country’s interests. Military coup is inadmissible, but let’s pay heed to the statement made by the General Staff and understand that the future of our country is at risk. The Armed Forces have already taken their step and made their statement, and they have nothing else to do,” he added.
