YEREVAN. – Do you know why the army is expressing concern, the General Staff is expressing concern? Because the law enforcement system, headed by the Prosecutor General, has failed the arrests for the crimes that were concocted by the traitor [i.e., PM Nikol Pashinyan] against the Armenian people, their children. Arpine Hovhannisyan, former National Assembly vice-speaker and ex-Minister of Justice, stated this Friday during the opposition’s protest outside the Prosecutor General's Office.

"The opposition can have one demand from [Prosecutor General] Artur Davtyan: You are obligated to manifest a law-abiding conduct at least once; that is, either arrest the traitor and all those who have killed the children of the Armenian people, or resign and say that you are unable not to carry out orders. The fact is that you are unable not to carry out orders so far.

Either cleanse [yourself] by arresting the traitor man, or just have honor and leave [your post]. You know what is hidden between the lines of the statement by the General Staff [of the army]. You should have done it, you did not, at least now cleanse [yourself] and do it. Arrest or leave!,” Hovhannisyan added, addressing the Prosecutor General.
