Armenia’s Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan today paid a working visit to the fifth military formation, as reported the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

The military formation’s command informed the defense minister that the servicemen in service on the lines of fortification in the territory of responsibility continue their on-duty service as prescribed and that no incidents have been recorded in the particular sector of the border zone.

Commander of the military formation, Colonel Smbat Grigoryan and Deputy Head of the Military Oversight Service at the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Vachagan Nersisyan informed the defense minister about the course of inspections being conducted by the Service within units subordinate to the military formation and the detected problems.

Harutyunyan inquired about the conditions of on-duty service of border guards at military posts and gave assignments to eliminate the shortcomings.
