Consultations with political parties might begin soon, and memoranda might also be signed. This is what Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan (elected from the ruling My Step bloc) told reporters today.

According to him, elections must be the culmination of the political processes. “As far as the position of the opposition Prosperous Armenia parliamentary faction is concerned, it’s clear that only one person (referring to Gagik Tsarukyan-ed.) calls the shots. I might have a meeting with him in the next few days,” Simonyan stated.
