Citizens of Dilijan have shut down the central sector of the road that is known as “Ltchap” to express solidarity with the Armenian army, Pastinfo newspaper reports.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia has declared that the Prime Minister of Armenia and government are no longer capable of adopting adequate decisions for the Armenian people during the current crisis and in the crucial situation and demand the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan.

The citizens of Dilijan stated that only the Armenian army has helped maintain and ensure peace and security in their borderline settlement.

One of the demonstrators mentioned that they aren’t pursuing political goals and decided to support the army in response to the call made by benefactor Artak Tovmasyan. Lawyer Anna Matashyan declared that she and the citizens don’t agree with the current treacherous authorities, which incited the war during which 7,000 soldiers were killed and injured.
