SpaceX Company’s Starship prototype rocket, which is developing for distant space flight and was launched from the platform of the Cameron city of Texas, exploded a few minutes after landing, Space.com reports.

It was reportedly exploaded due to excess rocket fuel.

During the test flight, the SN10 prototype flew into the air to an altitude of about 6,2 miles, performed a turn that controlled landing, re-started the engines and landed successfully.

The American entrepreneur Elon Musk, the founder of Tesla and SpaceX companies, believes in further success of the Starship prototype rocket, despite the third explosion in a row.

“The SpaceX team is doing great work! One day, the true measure of success will be that Starship flights are commonplace,” Musk tweeted.
