The ideas and values of the organization led by Soros and other similar organizations are leading Armenia to self-destruction. This is what second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan said during his press conference for Russian media outlets today, commenting on the active participation of “representatives of Soros” in the country’s public and political life, Sputnik Armenia reports.

The former head of state mentioned that there has to be a counterattack against this.

When told that the Open Society Foundations was established during his administration, Kocharyan added that he didn’t even know about it back then.

“There was a certain non-governmental organization, but it didn’t have a serious impact on domestic political processes back then. However, they became powerful and received a lot of financial support,” Kocharyan stated, adding that he’s certain that the values of Soros contradict the role that Armenia plays in the region.
