During today’s press conference in Yerevan, second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan said he is ready to run in the snap parliamentary elections announced by the Prime Minister of Armenia, if they are held, TASS reports.
“If snap elections are held, I’ll run in them. I think I have enough experience. Am I certain that I will win? In any case, I’ve never lost in elections,” Kocharyan said.
According to him, there is only one lawful mechanism for holding snap elections, that is, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan must resign, his parliamentary faction must not elect a new Prime Minister twice, after which snap elections must be launched.
