YEREVAN. – I cannot comment on that. Andranik Makaryan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, on Friday told this to reporters at Yerablur Pantheon Military Pantheon in the capital Yerevan, when asked to comment on the General Staff’s well-known statement demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his government.

When asked why he had not joined that statement, Makaryan said: "No comment."

As for the fact that many Armenian military officers announce that they stand with the army, Andranik Makaryan responded: "Do you all stand with the media or not? So, all the servicemen of the Armenian army are in the army and stand with it."
