Iranian Defense Minister Amir Khatami warned Israel that a mistake in the implementation of threats against Iran would lead to the fact that Haifa and Tel Aviv will be reduced to rubble, Tasnim reported.

Speaking at a conference in Tehran on Sunday, General Khatami rejected threats against Iran, saying they were indicative of Israel's disappointment.

Iran has every opportunity to maintain stability, including soft power, which, in turn, includes the axis of resistance and regional power, the minister said.

A few weeks ago, a spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned Israel that it would definitely get rebuffed for criminal acts against the Iranian state.

In February, Iran's ambassador to the United Nations dismissed Israel's rhetoric of military action against Tehran, saying the Islamic Republic is ready to respond with a crushing response to any threat.
