The Austrian authorities have suspended the use of a batch of the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine after the death of one vaccinated woman and the illness of another, Gazeta reported, citing the Federal Office for Safety in Health Care.

The agency has received reports of two incidents involving vaccinations from the same batch. Thus, a 49-year-old woman died after vaccination as a result of severe blood clotting disorders, another woman developed pulmonary embolism, and she is recovering.

At the moment, all the necessary research is being carried out.
