The Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) State Service of Emergency Situations informs that Monday’s search operations for the bodies of fallen servicemen and for the missing in Artsakh’s southern part—regions now under the control of Azerbaijan—have been canceled due to fog and low visibility.
In such cases, the work does not yield results. Weather permitting, the search will resume Tuesday, the service added.
A total of 1,490 bodies have been found since the ceasefire in November 2020.
