The Homeland Salvation Movement, which demands the resignation of Armenia’s PM Nikol Pashinyan, on Monday issued a statement to Armenian women on International Women's Day.
"Sadly, our painful defeat [in the recent Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war] and the disintegration of our statehood are also the personal pain and tragedy of many of you.
We are indebted to our heroes, their mothers, wives, daughters, and sisters.
The path of our covenant passes through Yerablur [Military Pantheon in the capital Yerevan].
Dear women, today, on March 8, at 16:00, we invite you to [Marshal] Baghramyan [Avenue], from where we will travel by buses to YERABLUR, to be committed—together with our mourning women—to saving the Homeland of our Heroes and to be worthy of their memory," the statement reads in particular.
